My Life

Biography : I was born in 1961 near Neuchâtel in Switzerland. I spent my childhood and youth between vineyards and lakes, grape-picking and sailing, playing the piano and singing.

Job : My love for music and sounds, as well as musicology studies, took me into a wonderful job. I have been working as a music and sound designer at Television Suisse Romande for 40 years.

Towards the SE

Working on a day to day basis with happy, sad, anxious, cheerful, worried, sick, exhausted, overexcited, pleased, under pressure, burned out, depressed, enthusiastic, optimistic colleagues.

The joys and sorrows of teamwork. Facing storms, cancers and divorces. Being blessed by 3 children. Laughing, crying, being emotional. The hustle and bustle brought me to question myself : Why, in a similar situation, do some get through quite easily, while others sink into discontent which prevents them from living their life fully?

I found the answer when I heard about SE and its creator, Dr Peter A. Levine:

The trauma is not in a specific event, but in the nervous system of the affected person.

I enrolled myself in a training course in Switzerland, and I got my degree in November 2019.

Advanced training and other activities
